Shri Rewa Gurjar Bal Niketan College, Sanawad is a premier educational institution that has invited the attention of eminent educational fraternity towards its recognition as one of the important educational institutions in both quality and quantity parameters. The Chairman of Rewa Gurjar educational trust Shri T.C.Patel (Ex. MP&MLA), has an incisive understanding of the social ills that beset his times and fully realized the dire need of the spread of education. From the very beginning, trust has laid its emphasis on education for the downtrodden and the poor that form the major bulk of the society.
Today, the trust runs 2 schools and a college, Dharmashalas which is spread in the Nimar region with 60+ employees belonging to different castes and communities and 2000+ students.
Trust is also doing various Community Services like Samuhik Vivah in the community, providing awareness related to social evils in remote and semi-urban areas, help and assistance for higher studies through various scholarships by the community.
Rewa Gurjar Bal Niketan College was established in the year 2005 as a branch of Shri Rewa Gurjar trust. The college is situated in Sanawad a rural area of Khargone district in Madhya Pradesh. The college campus is spread over an area of 4 acres of lush green land. It provides quality higher education in Arts, Commerce, Computers, Management and Science streams at the graduate and Postgraduate level. The college runs 09 UG, 06 PG Courses.
The college is affiliated to DAVV University, Indore.
The institute is located on the outskirt of Sanawad, a few minutes from the railway and bus stations at the Khargone road. The land area of the institute is 5 acres (20,000 square meters) while the building area is approximately 14,000 square meters.
There is a single block in the institute. The academic block has all the departments situated. There is one Cafeteria which can serve 120-140 students at a time. The institute has football and cricket ground and volleyball courts. It also has badminton and table tennis courts.
